Turtle Beaches. Why I can't stand them.

$100 dollars for a piece of equipment that goes over your ears so you can have an extra advantage over people in COD4 and 5 is ridicolous. (dont carebout spelling)

This one kid thinks he's the "big man on campus" because he can hear every single footstep on shipment or dome.

Not everyone can afford high priced equipment like that, and also if they buy it just to be good in Call of Duty they need totake counceling.

you sound ridiculous. Any surround sound system gives you an advantage in games. When my reciever crapped out it was a choice between a $200 headset (the x4), or a $200 surround sound, I grabbed the headset because its like having a movie theatre on your head. maybe you should save some money and get a surround sound or a nice headset

I have the x4s. They are good for anygame, not just multiplayer games. I could here people's footsteps without them, but everything sounds way better with the headphones.

Pretty judgemental for people who have never used them. First off, i paid $50 for mine. They are very comfortable and provide great sound quality. I didn't buy mine so i could have an advantage in cod, i bought it because i wanted to here the game sound in my headset because its much more immersive. You should really learn to try things before you call people out on them

I dont have any but I have surround sound, and I could care less what they do with THEIR money, besides they still have to be able to shoot.

Some people use them because they live with others and that way they dont disturb people when they are gaming.

honestly, I don't think they give you an advantage. I have the X1 TurtleBeach headset, and when i first bought it, I wanted to test it out on shipment. I asked my friend to move in several directions, and the footsteps i would hear in my headset would not correspond to his movements. I must admit that I was disapointed in that small feature because back then i was big on 1v1 gaming on shipment. But it's a real good buy though. I just use them to watch my netflix movies now loleddy5791

It's not for the sole purpose of having an advantage. It's just for better sound quality, no disruption if something is making noise in the house, etc...

No need to get so butthurt about it.
