Turtlebeaches

My mic is really messing up lately. I have a friend who got some Turtlebeaches and he really likes them. However, I also have a 'lower budget' friend that says his cheap Turtlebeaches are awful when it comes to talking.

I dont want to spend too much to get a good mic but I want to enhance my gaming and still be able to functionally talk to my friends.

Which mic do you suggest?

Get the turtle beach x1's now.They are only 60 bucks and they have great sound and the mic is fine. They will also greatly improve your game if you like playing online. If your issue is the mic, the mic on my x1's works fine and I highly recommend the headset.
