Nice, this and Perfect Dark will make my life complete, for XBLA at least. I played Turtles in Time a lot. Make it happen Rare.

lol i remember seeing "turtles in time" being on so many "bring to xbla" lists

and now its happening and theres doesnt seem to be much anticipation

The version on XBLA right now is the original arcade game and it happens to be one of the best arcade games ever. The second game on the NES was the home version of the arcade game.

I totally disagree with you on that but to each his own I guess. But if you like the NES game so much you really should try Turtles in Time on the SNES. It's also one of the greatest arcade games ever and it's one of my personal favorite games. I played it so much as a kid that it's not even funny.

Now we need Batman Returns.

I think Microsoft is gearing up for another Summer of Arcade, with Perfect Dark, Marvel vs Capcom 2 and Turtles in Time all being focused into August releases. As for me, I'm excited for Turtles in Time. I played The Hyperstone Heist (Sega 16bit port) to death so I'm really looking forward to this. Yay! I really hope they will still give you the option to play the game in its original 2D format. I'm not sure if I really dig the "remake" idea, but ah Hell I'll still d/l it anyways... I loved that game :)...

You know how we all have a dream of the perfect remake, and how you think it is too good of an idea to ever happen? For example, I would love to see a new 2D Blaster Master or an online multiplayer version of Goldeneye. Well this is one of those ideas! This is awesome! I will be buying this day one!

Too bad this isnt being release on psn b/c i have the Madcats SF4 TE stick for my ps3 and think it would bring the arcade feel of the game out but i'm seriously considering this one still. Besides my xbox could use a little attention. Does anyone know if this game has online?? 4NGoods

It should have online play, because TMNT had it and this is also a remake of the original game.

how good is the arcade game currently on xboxlive. i remember loving it as a kid in the arcades, I am torn between this and speedball. But not sure if nostalgia is better left in the past :)

Is this the a remake of the same TMNT game they have on XBLA right now? I just hope they don't release the original on XBLA and then release a remake of the original. I just feel you might be buying the same game twice that's all. So I hope there's new levels and options with this remake and they better not make a HD remake of Marvel vs Capcom 2 unless they add new stuff to it because I'm buying the original already. :P
