I will be getting a 360 next month (or maybe not until October), and I was wondering what are the neccasary accesories. I want to play 2-player, occasionally hook it up to my parents HDTV, and maybe play online. So what do I need? What is the cheapest controller that maintains good quality? What hook-ups do I need for HD and how do I know what to set the 360 on for that particular TV? Should I get one of those online cards and which one is the best value? etc.

Thx for any responses.

If you buy a premium/elite you'll get everything you need for hook ups. If you use batteries on a lot of accessories in your house/room I would suggest getting a battery charger and some recharable batteries, that way you can recharge and battery in your house. 360 controllers aren't cheap. I'd just get a regular MS controller. For online play, you need to suscribe to live, you can buy a membership card for 13 months. It's about the price of a game. Hope that helps/

For online, you need to be able to run a ethernet cable from your modem to your 360, or buy and then hook it up wirelessly.

Get a plug n play (or play n charge, cant remember) kit to charge the controllers while you play.

Question #1: They are usually like 800 points (I'm using an average) So that is like..... 5$? - This answer isn't great, because I've only gotten a couple arcade games Question #2: Yes you can. You will need to buy a wireless adapter. They go for about 45$ CDN

The wireless network adapter for the 360 cost $99. I bought it to use with my wireless router and it's very well worth the cost.
