I know you need two XBox 360s, and two tvs to system link, but do you need to have two copies of the game to play system link?

Also, if you have XBOX 360 Pro model console is there any disadvantage to buying a less expensive XBOX Arcade for the system link?

Yes, you need two copies of the game you wish to system link. No, there are no disadvantages to system linking a Pro model to an Arcade model, or even an Elite. They're all essentially the same hardware.

Both consoles need a copy of the game for System Link. There are no advantages of different model consoles in System Link.

Of course you need 2 copies of the game. How else could it possibly work?
