I have a 360 and a PS3, but the only use my PS3 gets is to watch BluRays. Personally, i dont think its a good idea, it takes away play time from the other system, plus..for me all the games i like are on the 360. If there are games your wanting on the Wii, and you think youll get 250$ of play time out of it, by all means go for it!

I have 2 Xbox 360's, a Wii and am getting a PS3 at christmas. all systems have good exclusive titles and that alone warrants a purchase (PS3 i am getting for Motrorstorm, resistance, metal gear and killzone)

PS3 is really just a dumbed down version of the 360. The only thing that makes it worth a second thought is it's blueray player, howver you could just buy one of those for a MUCH cheaper cost. The Wii is cool because it's completely different than either of the others, it's also good for parties and whatnot.

Well depends which games you like to play, if your an RPG fan just stick to the one console, your 360 or the wii, if you play others theres no prob in havin 2 imo. plus the wii is a different ball game altogether compared to the 360 so it's a nice change of pace if you're on yer360 alot.

I disagree with the previous poster, I own a Wii, PS3 and just recently a 360. Since most games can be found on multiple consoles with minumum changes you have choice. But you also have access to more exclusives with multiple consoles. I got a 360 to play Gears, Ninja Gaiden 2, Fable and so on. I wont find those on any other console. I have my Wii for Mario, Zelda, Smash Bros, Metroid etc, and the PS3 for MGS, Uncharted, MLB The Show, and like I said I have choice. I wouldn't want to have to play SFIV on the 360, while I may want to play COD on the 360.

i'd say xbox360 and ps3

MGS4,LBP,Resistance 2, God Of War 3(when it comes out) are other things beside the blu-ray player that make the ps3 worth it.

Depends on if ur really going to like the Wii. I'm a core gamer and the titles on the Wii just don't attract me.

I prefer my xbox for most of the games, xbox live blows away psn even with the subscription taken into account. I use the PS3 for the blu-ray/great exlusives.

I own a Xbox 360 and a Wii, theres nothing wrong with having two systems due to the amazing games on each system, but my wii is just collecting dust and i don't want to sell it in case a new mario, zelda or some amazing games come out and feel like an idiot.

I have 360 and PS3. I play my 360 a lot more but the PS3 is great for movies and for those few games like (Like Mirrors edge since I thought it felt a bit better with the dualshock controller even though I believe the 360 controller to be the best controller ever made so far). My family is getting a Wii for christmas.

The more systems the better - as a previous poster said - it gives you choices. All the systems have fantastic exclusives that you may not want to miss.

For gaming I have PC/360/PS3

The Wii doesn't appeal to me personally - though I think it fills the gap for casual gamers so I am happy it is doing so well.

The PC is...

Well it's the PC - nuff said. It's the best as long as you can afford constant upgrades.

The 360 and PS3 are very similar platforms - though I would by no means say one is inferior to the other. They each have great exclusives. I would say my 360 gets a bit more play time because it does overall have more exclusives, but I wouldn't give up the PS3 exclusives I've been blessed to play for anything. Heavenly Sword, Resistence 2 and Uncharted are all absolute must plays IMO. Oh and I would get flamed if I didn't mention MGS4 and LBP - though neither of those hold much appeal for me personally.

:)

This is true, I think the only reason people buy the PS3 is because of the Blu-ray player but I seen one blu-ray player on sale for like 150 bucks.

exactly. why spend that kind of money on a PS3, when you're not gunnu get any playing time out of it because you play your 360 more? yeah sure, its great cause of the Blu-Ray, but c'mon.

Moved my reply to System Wars - this thread is probably going to get locked and I don't want to get modded.

For the last couple of you making the silly statement I am responding to - that's the last couple of posters - you can find my reply in that (the proper) forum if you want.

I have a 360 and wii and couldn't be happier. For the most part, all the games that come out for ps3 come out for the 360 as well. The only bonus is a blu-ray player which I personally don't care about. The wii's great for parties and all the great first party games like Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Smash bros, etc. I would suggest getting a wii in addition to your 360. But hey, that's just me- and I'm a nintendo fan.

Had em all.

360 is my favorite. Wii is fun but more casual and ps3,eh. Cool but more cool games on the 360.

I have a wii and xbox 360. Great combo because the xbox 360 lacks the kind of games that the wii has.

well duh lol

You dont have a motion stick for one. Even the same exact games play differently. So what a very odd thing to say...

You can say the Wii lacks the type of games the 360 has HA

Not really you can just use the Gamecube controller. That's what i use for Brawl which is my most played Wii game.

i've got a 360, a ps3, a Wii, a Dell XPS m1730 laptop. a DS, and a PSP. I also have a Gamecube, PS2, Dreamcast, SNES, and NES. I've been playing my ps3 and PC more than anything these days, just because I'm living in the UK at the moment and I can't be bothered to try and figure out which 360 games will work on my NTSC system and which won't. Everything will work on PS3 and PC, so that's that.

This should be in the System Wars board.
