If I buy one rpg this summer, is this the one to get???

gamespot says its gonna be released august 14.

i think it actually would be the game to get this summer, im thinking of getting it myself.

you should wait for the ratings on it to come out before you get it though. i think its gonna be a good rpg game. it looks tight.

As of April, it was supposed to release in May. However, in Gamespot's preview, they said that they hoped the developers would iron out many of the bugs that they encountered while playing through the first couple of hours. Thankfully it looks like they took even longer to iron out any bugs. It sounds quite comparable to Oblivion. It even has a larger land. I believe levelling up is like Oblivion as well. You get points and you can level up your willpower, strength, etc. What I don't know is if your enemies level up as you do. Hopefully not.

If you prefer action RPGs, I'd say this very could be the one to buy (assuming you don't have Oblivion). If you like JRPGs, look into Blue Dragon (but realize that your charactersare way more powerfulcompared to the enemy than they probably will be in the final game).

I hate to say it, but I agree. I've been looking forward to this game for a long time, and I will probably still pick it up, but I think it will be disappointing. Maybe the "poor mans" Oblivion.
