I wouldnt give it any higher than a 6. Ive played about 3hrs in. First impression will be absolutely horrible as it looks and feels like a last gen game with numerous problems. To me the frame rate prevents any immersion into the game.
I was really looking forward to this game and wish I didnt buy it. There really is a lot of potential in this game that could have been great. The in game menus and map are very hard to get used to. And how in the world can your horse hold 500lbs. of loot.
If anybody Knows where I can find the game that is shown and described on the back of the Two Worlds box please let me know cause thats what I thought I bought.
I'm also enjoying it, the gameplay is strangely addictive. Combining items to turn weak equipment into something you'd actually use is great. Interesting spells and a wide array of skills to choose and build from. Framerate issues hurt it, but they don't kill it.david60639
Are you talking about Two Worlds or Two Worlds 2...
The sequel is supposed to be a vast improvement (we shall see) the first one is an unqualified train wreck of poor designdecisions and sub par execution.
You'll either love it or hate it depending on if you can get over its technical problems, like framerate drops.
I thought about getting the game as well. I played the demo and i hated it and that kind of put me off. I bought Gothic 4 and more recently Risen (which i have not started yet) and Gothic 4 was simplistic RPG that was worth a playthrough. I am seriously thinking about picking up Two Worlds 2 though, depending on whether it is playable or not. By the looks of it, it does seem it is a major improvement.
