I wannaknow how long the 360 is gonna last until microsoft comes up with an upgrade. I really want a 360, but people r telling me not to get it cuz it's dead? I don't believe that and I wanted to know ur opinions. i don't want to sound like the dumbass in the forum sayin, should i get an xbox 360? or what if it doesn't work? somethin like that.
I've had mine since Christmas and nothing has happened at all, it is perfectly fine. And they do plan on doing some changes for the 360, new Dvd drive so it is quieter. Just make sure not too much dust gets to it and don't overuse it so it overheats and it should stay fine.
Do you mean how long will it last in terms of hardware failures etc. or when will MIcrosoft comes out with a new Xbox(such as Xbox 3 etc.). I would say if you get a 360 with the new falcon, it might last longer than the current ones. And a new Xbox will probably be shown at around the E3 2009 or something.
I think that he is asking when the Xbox 720 is coming out, not how long it lasts until you get the rrod. no one knows for sure but there are estimates that it will be in 2011 or 2012. eitherway, that is still a good run for the 360 with excellent games.
had mine since march so that makes it nealry 7 months apart from a couple freezes (gears of war, f.e.ar and pro evo) no red rings or whatever. its funny cause ive got this dude who plays at least 4 hrs a day EVERDAY since launch and no probs yet.
