UFC 2009 = the best sports game ever?

"the best sports game ever" was just an attention getter, but watching the trailor for the game made it look AMAZING! Im a huge fan of MMA fighting and i've been wanting a next gen MMA fighting game ever since the 360/ps3 came out. Has anyone else been anticipating this for as long as i have, and how do you think it will turn out? Amazing, okay, or a disapointment?

I think it'll be a good game but not the best. Anytime you hype a gameup to be the best game ever you're setting yourself up for a huge let downScarface_tm431

yeahh thats how gta4 was for me but no one agrees for that one...but back on subject does anyone think at E3 2008 their will be a better update? it has been a year since that trailor came out so i hope so

they own UFC. but thq hasnt said whether or not they have a developer. most people are assuming thq will be developing it also.

no "the best sports game ever" was speculation. i think it will turn out to be a disappointment. but i hope it turns out good. I won't believe the game is even OK til i read the review.

Holy crap, when I first started watching it actually looked real, that's amazing. This game looks like it could be the best fighting game out there. MMA for the win! :D

I could guarantee the gameplay graphics won't look like that.

But it could still be a fun game, and being a UFC fan, I'm pretty excited for this game.

That is not actual game play. If this game turns out even close to what they show it will be worth buying ............ but I doubt it. Look up a few older fighting games trailers (such as Fight Night Round 3 and Tekken 5?). We will all just have to wait and see with this one.

Yeah I think it will be ok, and yes I've been waiting for a while.

I've never watched UFC or played a UFC game before, but this has got me interested. That looks like so much fun. I've played a couple really good wrestling games lately, but this looks like a whole other level of fun. I may end up picking this game up if it looks as good at release as it did in that trailer.jalexbrown

The other UFC games did suck a ton, because all you had to do was do a quick grab and somehow two seconds later your opponent would tap out. The trailer does like awesome, but I will make a judgement after I see some other footage. No matter what, I will probably pick the game up just because I want a UFC game.

i was watching a interview with Rampage jackson about the game earlier today. It showed him playing the game but the video didn't show the video game in action.....major disapointment :(

And yea I've been following MMA since the Shamrock days, the old Pride and UFC games were fun. K1 wasn't bad either, so I can't wait until this.
