really comes down to which sport you like more. both offer the very best MMA/Boxing action, so they're about equal. however FNR4 arguabely has better modes. UFC's career mode is ass. but online is great fun. however both have the same online issue. early quitters.

I prefer FNR 4 only because I'm way better at it than UFC. I'm freaking awesome at UFC as long as I can stay up on my feet, just as soon as I get put on the mat I get my butt kicked.
either way get the used copies cause fighting games always get stale after a couple months and you this years FNR4 was not as good as the hype. At least they are patching up some of the problems this month or next so just wait a while and you'll probably be happier.
I own both, I love UFC it looks a lot better and more real, you can do more then just boxing. When you hit someone in Fight Night 4 they seem uneffected until they fall down. UFC feels like your really kicking someones butt.In FN4 it feels like your playing rockum sockum robots. IMO UFC is better in every aspect. Both games have demos so check em out or rent them and judge for yourself.
I have owned both games (traded in UFC) and they are both awesome but, I would take FNR4 over UFC because I think it is the better overall game. The fighting is so fluid and the graphics are SO amazing! Not to mention the physics are unreal! So yeah, although they are both great games, I would take FNR4 over UFC fo sho!
thanks to all. i had UFC for bit and kinda got tired of it. The career mode was ok and it got annoying trying to counter ground game positioning. Fight Nights graphics are crazy and I love the training modes and career is easy to understand. I do think that the update to both games will drastically help both titles. i think Fight night Rd. 4 was a great choice for me. i really don't miss UFC. Thanks again.
I have to go with the UFC game for sure. Just from how much fun me and my friends have playing either. It's a lot more exciting when me and my friends are all sitting around drinking playing the UFC game. FNR4 isn't as fast paced and the fights can take a lot longer which kind of sucks for us cause we like handing the controller around.
If you like realistic fighters, you can't go wrong with either. For me, I'm going to give Fight Night the slight nod, simply because of the better career and online modes.
o man, fight night completely sucked ass, i had to trade it back to the store cus it was so bad, worst game i ever played, the sticks control is terrible and all people do is mash the sticks, my little sister beat me cus all she did was mash the sticks, ufc is more realistic and stretegic and fun to play, even though there both not all that i would go with ufc
