UFC Undisputed 2009 - Discussion

So, is anyone here at Gamespot a huge UFC/MMA fan, like myself? My life is basically training, eating, sleeping, gaming, and a little makin' love to the wife where time permits (our schedules are very different).

I can't wait for this game. I'm really hoping it turns out as good as they're making it out to be. But I'm really looking forward to it. My hope is simply that you can use really sim how you wanna play, like in Fight Night Round 3 (I'm 33-0 in Lightweight fights).

Here's the roster list that's been confirmed so far. Please excuse the reference numbers, as I took this from wiki.

Heavyweight

Obviously this is a pretty small list so far, especially as far as the Welterweights are concerned. But with the recent Jon Fitch fiasco, it's safe to say you can add him to that list. I also know guys like Marcus Davis and Thiago Alves are in the game.

Game is set for release May 24th, 2009.

inteesting, i am a fan of UFC but i never bought any game it does seem like a good game of waht they r saying it to be. iam2green

Yeah, apparently the submission and ground game is going to be awesome. From what I've seen in demos, guys are rotating the thumsticks during struggles. So I think you have to move the thumbstick in a circle and find the sweet spot, which would probably then vibrate.

That's what'll be interesting to see; how they play out power struggles.

I am semi-interested, but need to see more previews and ultimately some reviews before I will dish out for any UFC game *again*.

Otherwise, just going to get the new Fight Night. :) 

deffinatly will consider buying, watched some of the videos and if they were game footage the graphics look awesome. And yeah i hope they do get a bigger list of fighter, they dont even have sean sherk in the light weights. MikeHawke

He's in there. I've seen screenshots of his model. Same with Joe Lauzon.

i can't wait for this game.  I am a huge fan of the UFC this game looks awesome i think in one of the videos i saw they said there will be over 60 fighters i could be mistaken but that will be sweet,

lol, did any of ya'll try the demo thats been out for a week on Live? everyone in here has been talking about screenshots and videos. why not just try the demo, thats awesome by the way. and i saw the full list of fighters on ign....or here, i forget. they have EVERYBODY on this game...everybody. i was amazed with how many fighters they added onto the roster. the list this guy has up is funny and slim as hell. don't see why he'd make a topic about the game and know nothing about it.

And Randy Couture isn't in the game. Clay Guida isn't in the game...not EVERYBODY is in the game.

Again, read dates (Nov. 2008!) before you come in acting like a smart guy...because now you look pretty stupid, don't you?

My Buddy's are going NUTS about this game once i tried the demo took awhile for me to pass on the controller so i am definitely Buying this cant wait to check

out fighters like: evan tanner,george st pierre,Forest Griffen,matt hughes,anderson silva,kieth jardine,bj penn,michael bisping,why matt hamel isnt in this game but who cares but i can keep on going.
