I have just been told by game that they will swap my box for another one over the counter because its got the RRoD and its under 12months old. !!!!!

I assume the RRoD means 3 rings of death, anything thats got 12 month manufactors warranty on it should be able to be swapped for free, Bet your happy your not forking out cash to have it fixed

There's an EU directive applied in 01/Jan 2002, that imposes a 2 (two) year warranty to any consumer electronics within the community, sowe're entitled to have it fixed. And MS even added an extra year, now it's 3 (three).
