UK Xbox 360 owners - Warranty question?

I hear that the US 360 owners have the chance to extend their warranties through Microsoft directly with the paperwork that comes in the 360 box, but do the UK 360 boxes give you the same option to extend the warranty?

yes mine came with a leaflet that you can send back to microsoft for a 3 year warranty, think it was £60Amit_88

Thanks guys, thats a real help, its just that most UK stores only offer a 1 year standard warranty!

Not sure why it takes them so long to send the paperwork out though?

I didnt get any paper work either. But I phoned MS and they said that my 360 is under warranty for another 2 years.clarencetlso

Did they say why?  So you have 3 years total?
