I recently got a 360v elite and as you know it comes with trail version of XBL arcade games. They say I can "unlock" the game by going on live. Is "unlocking" the game free? I ask this because in the past when I played a demo on the computer it would say buy now.

Can anyone else confirm this? Whats the point of 12 "Trial Xbox Live Arcade games" when you can download them for free unless your Xbox 360 is not connected to the Internet.

Yes i bought an elite this week after selling my Premium and it comes with Hexic HD Full Version..and pre-installed demos of street fighter, geometry wars, small arms, heavy weapon, feeding frenzy and some others.....along with a crapload of videos installed....halo 3 commercials etc.

Unlocking Arcade Games = Purchasing them.
Oh sorry I thought he was talking about the Arcade version of Xbox 360.
that be the same if you own a core 360 and get a 120 gb hdd, its not just the elite just to clear it up and no its not free, you gotta buy the games and also the 120 gb hd has demos , i dont know why theyed waste your space when we could dl these our selfs i deleted every trial game and demo they put in except my current 5 games, i had from my other hd ,
