Well being a poor college student I am forced to make tough fiscal decisions regarding video games. I know I want to get Halo 3... if nothing else but because of the sheer hype. For my second choice should I wait for Mass Effect or Call of Duty 4? Anyone been following them both closely?

Mass Effect will last you longer, try to get the CoD4 beta.

I would say Mass Effect 'cause it'd compliment Halo 3 better.You get a great XBL game and a great single player game instead of 2 online shooters.

Mass Effect and Halo 3 would last you awhile,just the idea of having only two FPS at one time could get repetitive in a short amount of time.

Mass Effect is only 2 more weeks past Call of Duty 4, so it's not that much longer of a wait. I'd say go with Mass Effect.
