Its definetly my favorite game of 2008, but it had some stuff that i disliked. I wanna know what your favorite part of Fallout 3 was and your least favorite part. Whether it be the environment, expansions, or just seeing one of your favorite PC games being brought to the next gen. Whatever.

Up: The immersive environment and characters, and being able to reduce an arrogant punk raider to a couple of strewn about peices of flesh with the bloody mess perk.

Down: Level cap and ending. I wish it went on. Also not being able to pick up every single peice of junk i find on the ground( this includes useless things like paper and helpful stuff like plants for performance and such).

I haven't beat the game yet, but have log quite a bit of hours. This is one of 2008 best and I enjoy it alot. I haven't found much in the game that I don't dislike. There are some small issues, but they're acceptable. I highly recomend this game.

I like discovering groups of settlers/towns/cities/outposts... I like them because talking with wastelanders is awesome... most have backstories to tell and a lot have quests to offer... When I first got the game, after getting out of the Vault... it just felt really good to walk into Megaton and talk to people...

I just like talking to people in these types of games... ask Oblivion... that game is tired of ME... I have talked to every single person in it at least a million times :)

Honestly, my only complaint is the lack of random events. There are a few, but if you've ever played the first two games then you'd know that really strange s*** happened and happened often. That was one of my favorite things because it kept every playthrough relatively fresh. Other than that, the game is an absolute gem IMO.

On a side note, the third expansion raises the level cap as well as continues the main story, so don't get too disappointed about the ending/cap yet because that's all changing sometime next month. I am very anxious to see what Bethesda does to continue the campaign.

I also wish there was more stuff in this game... Oblivion had dozens of cities and settlements... and a few dozen small outpost of a few homes here and there... and the citiies had a lot more residents and things to do... Cities in Fallout have on average like 20 people... with a little as 10 or so and only up to a few dozen in Rivet City... I know it is a post apocalyptic wasteland... but there should be more people...
