US xbox 360 and South Korea

Currently I'm stationed here in Korea and I want buy Call of duty 4, but the thing is none of the PX here or the nearby bases have this game in stock; they have plenty of Space Chimp though. Question is will the korean version of COD4 play on my US 360? Are 360 games region coded?

I don't want to order 'cause it takes about two weeks to ship here and the game store is literally right off the gate. The guy in the store said no but I don't think he ever tested a korean game on a US 360.

The PX was always a terrible place to pick up games :), even if you don't pay tax on them. Pretty sure that holds true for just about any installation with a PX/BX, everywhere I've been stationed has always had a poor selection of games.

I believe the only games over there that do region lockout is Japan. I could be wrong but a good number of asian games will run on US 360s. Hopefully someone here will have the info on CODIV, but according to play-asia alot of asian 360 games run on US 360s (list here)

I suggest that you use www.play-asia.com thats where I buy all my games, that aren't region free. and shipping to Korea is free :)
