Can anybody explain to me how it's possible to do? My best friend recently moved to China(and since they censor most websites, I'm stuck researching it for him), and he needs to use his American 360 over there. Not to mention China still doesn't even have Xbox 360's, so it's not like he can just buy one. Can anybody explain to me, exactly what he'd need? I know he'll need a powerful 110V to 220V Power Converter, I was kind of hoping there was a way he could just get a power brick that's compatible with 220V and that would work, but I have no clue. Any help I'd appreciate! :)
Ok, first of all mate, i am pretty pretty sure he will be able to find an XBOX 360 over there. It is China "we produce everything at the cheapest cost" we are talking about. ;)
Now more towards your questions. The only two problems are: the power converter (which is easy to find, try eBay or actually just buy one from over there) and the games, because they have to be NTSC-compatible games to work on a NTSC XBOX 360.
finding power converter is easy but if he lives in a small apartment, its likely the place would black out. but if your friend live in a developed city like shanghi its less likely to do so. lastly the region code is likely ntsc/j
