I'm trying to connect to xbox live through my pc, which is wirelessly connected to my router.

I've done this before, but I had to restore my computer's settings due to a boot error, and now it won't connect. I can't for the life of me find which settings will allow a conection now, does anyone know what I should be doing, or what connection settings I need to use? I'm using windows vista 64 bit, btw. Ta much, this would really help. I have a 1 month time card waiting fr me on my coffee table at this very minuite...

you have to go into your wireless connection porperties and set it to "allow computers to connect through this computers connection".

There's a you-tube video that shows where to go, but its fairly easy to find. just right click on the little thing down in the bottom right of the taskbar that shows your wireless conn. select i think its "show or opennetwork connections" (at work ATM so i dunno exact wording). when that pops up right click again on the wireless connection in that window and select properties. i think the option is under either the general or advanced tab. just check the little box and you should be good to go.

god i re-read that and realised how horrible it is going to be to follow, but its the best i can remember for now LoLz!
