is there suppose to be any differece in the two? considering the 360 versionis comin out a few months from nowdeadFalling
The 360 version was to have less maps, possibly lose user content support and also lacks the Gamespy functions which the PC and PS3 ones have. The user content support is down to MS allowing epic to give away free content, and we all know how MS feels about giving.
UTIII isn't out yet on the 360 because Epic is currently working with Microsoft on a method to distribute modified content and/or user-created maps.
Not that I think Halo 3 is the greatest thing ever, but Bungie has clearly found a way to distribute many things for free in terms of custom game-variants and so forth. It is not likely that user-created maps will come free, since Microsoft is not apt to give anything away for free. At least for me, this is not a big deal... if it is a great game, I don't mind paying a few bucks for maps that I will play over and over.
Anyhow, UTIII will have a much larger community on the 360 with many times more matches and players and will fully support voice chat via XBL (PS3 owners are having a rough go with voice communication according to the forums) as well as having achievements. That'll do for me.
