Vanquish sleeper hit or just sleeper?

So I was just going to watch the launch trailer for fable 3 ( which looks decent but nothing to mind blowing) and before the trailer there was a little video on vanquish. This game comes out next week with fallout new vegas and from what I have seen on TODAY ON THE SPOT as well as released video previews it looks pretty fast paced and entertaining. So my question is will this game be a really great hit that no one plays or will it be a bad game no one play it at all?

Wow I had no idea it was coming out so soon. The demo was great, but the marketing team seems to have dropped the ball.

I personally disliked the Demo. I say miss.

Demo was awesome, looking foward to it alot not sure I get it til next year though

I loved the demo so I know I will be buying it even though I am broke!

I got the demo and was very satisfied by the game. It was a bit chaotic for my taste at times, but I really did have a lot of fun. I think I will pick it up when I get through some more games that I have been meaning to play.

Did not like the demo at all. I could tell you many reasons why but it would just sound like a rant. Based on the demo, "sleeper."

exactly, Bayonetta is all about gameplay, well this will be too, I dont tend to buy Japanese games for story so much unless its an RPG

it should be a hit full stop have you actually seen what that game is capable of? Gears of War on speed I reckon but people seem more intrested in the 7th Call of Duty outing on this gen console yet people want something new what gives??

I saw the first few trailers thinking it was going to be a great new game. Then saw some gameplay and tried the demo. Not even going to rent it.

the demo was a ton of fun, i think it should get at least somewhere in the 8s.

I will have to give the demo a shot and see how it turn out in the reviews it looks decent but who know what i will think after I play a bit of it.

I like PlatinumGames and I'm planning on getting it eventually but reviews saying it can be beaten in 4-6 hours probably will scare me away from getting it until the price drops. But it probably will get a little lost behind other releases sales-wise

The demo was great. I am getting it. Anyway, 98% of videogame storylines are cheesy as hell, even the ones that people claim are so affecting. Derivative drivel from Hollywood and classic late 19th century and 20th century sci-fi, fantasy novels. You shouldn't ask whether the storyline is good or original in a "story" kind of way, but whether its entertaining and engrossing as a video game device that moves the action and gameplay forward (or backwards(or sideways)).

Like I said a hit no one plays (sleeper) or just a game no one plays at all.

I say sleeper. The demo was bad imo. It felt like a cheap gears knock off. Gunplay just didnt feel good at all. Characters and story seemed awful too.

Lol? So every game you play has to be easy mode or something? Every boss you face you have to kill it in your first try?

GI didn't have shining things to say about it, but it'll probably end up on my "someday list." Problem with that, though, is that every once in a while I play a real gem a year or two after launch, then spend a week or two kicking myself over it(see WET for further info).El_Zo1212o

LOL Wet was a pretty fun game. So far the reviews sound good the 6 hour campaign sounds kind of scary I am going to wait and see what gamespot has to say about it as i didn't really like IGN's review to much.
