Whats the deal am I the only one who plays both games and love them at the equally at the same time??? I mean seriously. When I go on Gears all I hear when I talk about Vegas is that "Vegas Sucks". its the same on Vegas, when I play Rainbow Six all i hear is "Gears Sucks". I wanna know whats with all the hate??
2 similar games. gears alot more fast paced action in weapon spots more team based. vegas is slower/more tactical/realisic. both use a similar cover system
Im a fan of Gears.... Ive played the Vegas demos and didnt really like them.. Vegas fans tend not to like Gears b/c to them its unrealistic(kind of is) they prefer actual guns and not sum hammer of dawn... thats jus me
I like both. But don't love either. Gears is too inconsistent online... rainbow is too easy...

my brother is that way.. he loves anything with a real gun in it (even crappy indie games for PC :? ) but he wont even give Gears a chance...
I don't think it's that big a deal. All I play is Vegas and my best friend only plays Gears. I get along better with him than most of my friends in Vegas.
Both games are awesome. I personally think that Vegas multiplayer destroyes Gears because of the massive host advantage and that the A.I. is generally better, but Gears has the coolest single player, Vegas is somewhat frustrating because of moron ennemis that always hide behind objects when the fight is over and then shoots you in the back before the checkpoint, and Gears has the nicest graphics by far.Â
In the end none is better, they compliment each other perfectly. Love them both:D:D
Nah I think its more of a Graw2 vs. Rainbow 6 Vegas thing going if anything. I play Rainbow online and ppl say Graw2 sux and when I play Graw2 they say Rainbow suxs. Wheres the love??? lol by da way Gears sux!!!! (had to write it lol)
I know what you mean TC, it's just like two camps. I played both games, and personally liked rainbow six better. It's not that I hate people who like gears better though. It's just completely different styles of gameplay. The one likes precision tactical shooting better, the other likes chainsawing and shotgunning better.
I like both games pretty good, but I would say I played Gears much more and enjoyed a little more than Rainbow. Both good games no need to hate on either of them.Â

i love both games equal, becasue they are very different. but most people are one sided and strongly like one and hate the other, so you got to watch what you say when playin one of them. i've learned.
