i just obught a verticle stand with a fan for my xbox..

its powered by a usb but i have it plugged into my cable box so it doesnt cut into my 360s powersupply.

shouldi keep my 360 verticle?

ive kept my 360 elite vertical ever since i bought it, no problems, ever.... it's better for ventilation.

Horizontal. My first 360 was vertical and one day the light that shows which controller slot the controller is (controller 1 or 2 or whatever) started switching between 1st player and 2nd player even though I was one the first player controller and it was the only one on. The next day I got the red lights. Same thing happened with my 2nd 360 but the second it started changing like that again I put it horizontal and it lasted another... 6 months I think.

Verticle.

I'm not sure if it being setVerticle has anything to do with this, but. I once forgot to shut my 360 off when i went to a friends house. Over 24 hours later I come home in horor to see its on. And it wasnt even the slightest bit hot.
