When the 360 first came out I bought Tiger Woods, I just couldn't believe the crap I got. First, they make you pay $10 more this generation and the regular xbox version had been out a while and lower than $50 and had twice as many courses and more gameplay features. So why did I have to pay more for half a game?
The framerate would stutter and change all the time, really noticeable. The visuals were decent, but when you hit the ball and the camera goes high in the air, one of the best parts to see the graphics, almost everything disappears, no more tree shadows, no people, no carts, not even the freaking hole flag, everything looked barren.
I'd hit the ball towards the green and I can't even tell if I was heading towards the whole since it wasn't there. You'd think with new HD resolution on a 55inch screen you can see the whole/flag, but it wasn't until the ball was about to hit the ground before the flag and hole magically popped back in, very disjarring the gameplay and makes.
I took it back to costco and got a refund basically saying there's no way I'm paying more for a half **** game. I understand maybe EA had to meet launch 360 deadline, but they only should of charged $40 for this old half version of the game, then I might have kept it, but $60 was an insult. That $10 game cost this generation was to help rising game development costs, not there to make an extra buck with a game that obviously didn't have enough development put into to to pass $50 fee.
