VGA cable problem with outlining

Love the vga cables i got over the component cables for my hdtv, but i was just wondering there seems to be a slight shadow/ extra outlining on words (ex. "Starrtt" instead of "Start") and outside of character models if i squint a little bit or come closer to the hdtv, im sorry i dont know the techinical term for this but i was just wondering if there was a solution to this, is my vga cable not screwed in properly or is it something else? i have teh official cables btw
