Well the easy solution i came up with was to hook it up to souround sound, its the only thing i could fine that would match and they're quite cheap in argos, £50-60 pounds i think.

Take out the Green cable from the speakers and plug the Red and White cable into the adapter that came with you VGA cables. If you can't do that because the cord doesn't unplug the from the speakers. You can put the Red and White cables plugged into the adapters and plug the adapter into the AUDIO IN or INPUT or AUX IN or something of your sound card. Then go to the Volume control and unmute or mess with the volumes for the 360. ALSo you computer needs to be on at all times when you do that.

Use the Native Resolution for you monitor will be the best bet.

not true! i play ps2 without my computer on using my speakers---my speakers came with an adapter, and i use that as a source instead of the computer, directly.

One question though. With the VGA adapter, does it display all the resolutions in progressive or interlaced or does it depend on the res?

By the way has anyone managed to connect their 360 to a laptop via VGA cable? Mine is a Dell Inspiron 1300 with widescreen but i read on the xbox website that most laptops cant cause they only have a video out instead of in or something like that (im not that technical). It does have a blue thing in the back which you screw into (i tried it with a projector before)

I would get a cheap @$$ little surround sound set up for your 360. They have one at walmart for $35. Sounds pretty nice too.. lots of bass cause it has a sub.
