Is there a way, I can hook my 360 to a vga input on my LCD and the vga cable from the pc at the same time??

I just hate it when I want to play my 360, I have to disconnect the vga cable from the pc. And when I want to go on the pc, I have to disconnect the vga cable going from my 360..

done.

note you wont be able to have pc image and 360 image comign in at the same time, as they will both be accepted by the cable at the same time and youll get interference. If you want do be able to have both images at the same time, youll need to buy a switcher. google a vga switcher on amazon, theyre a bit more expensive and basically have a button or switch to select between which vga port you want to use.

its weird. When I play it with my widescreen, it does not show the whole dashboard, and a bit of it is cut-off.

Take a look at the pictures I took while playing on the widescreen.

In this last picture u can see, that the Live marketplace blade is missing. Normally in my HDTV I could be able to see all 5 blades, but in this case I only see 4 blades. WHy is that?

I know my LCD monitor cuts off some because the 360 doesn't support my monitors native resolution yet (it will with the fall update!!! 1440 x 900 sweetness!).

You might be having the same problem. What is the make and model number of your monitor?

Yup, that's the problem. Your monitors native resolution is 1680 x 1050. The good news is that your native res is also being added in the fall!

The blur effect is from the monitor having a high response time. Anything below 8ms should be fine for gaming. As for the VGA to DVI thing, I think you'd have to have a 360 with an HDMI port then get an HDMI to DVI cable. I tried going from DVI to VGA with my PS3 and had nothing but problems. The HDMI to DVI worked great though. For 360's, VGA should be all you need.

I have the same monitor for my xbox. Set the resolution 1920x1080 and then xbox will ask you if the setting is ok. Select no and then it will use another setting for the same resolution. If this don't work press "Auto" from the panel several times until it's fixed.
