Hey all, i have a few quick questions about the 360 vga cables. I have a 20 inch CRT monitor, that is not widescreen, will this cause issues when using the VGA cable (do they automatically output in widescreen)? Also, can someone post the conversions for monitor resolutionsconverted totheir HDTV equal (what resolution is 1080i, 720p, etc)? One last question, is delay only an issue with certain LCDs monitors or can you get delay on a CRT monitor as well? I realize you don't know the specifics of my hardware, just looking for general answers so I can get a rough idea on these things. Thanks for the help.

The VGA cables go via VGA resolution not HD resolutions. Just pick the highest res from the list that your monitor supports (probably 1600x1200 at the least).

some games will just operate in letterbox, but you're still looking at 720p resolution if you're using at least 1280x1024 resolution. It will look great. 98% of games are natively 720p. crt does not have delay / ghosting - pc gamers hung on to crt monitors for as long as they could, you'll still find many that consider high end crt monitors the best picture quality available. I'm pretty sure you'll be more than happy :)

Right, I understand that, I was just wondering what resolutions are comparable to whatHDTV settings. Would 1600x1200 be comparable to 720p, or whatever. I understand they are different, but surely a certain setting on one must be comparable to a certain setting on the other.
