Hey guys. I recently got an xbox 360 but Iv having issues playing it on my tiny TV. So Im going to get one of those VGA cables so I can play it on a computer monitor, seeing how most of the ones I own are alot bigger then my TV. Anyway, Im just wondering if buying a generic branded cable will be the same as an official one. Could it damage my console in anyway, or my monitors. I really dont want to get an offical one because thier $30 more then what I can get the other. Thanks for any info you's can give. :)

You do realize what a cable is right? No it will not damage anything, there are no conversion to the signal. The signal quality might be slightly different depending on the cable, however for dvi/hdmi which are digital unlike vga their quality change is extremely low/unnoticeable.

This is what I'm using. $6.75 + shipping. Works perfectly.
