Hi im looking into getting a vga cable but it looks like the cable is a male connector and my monitor have a male cable as well. My question is does the VGA cable come with a double sided female converter and any audio converter for the two red and white audio cables?
Whoa calm down. The MS one comes with the VGA male-female adapter and the RCA audio cables come with an RCA-male mini plug (like a headphone plug). My only problem was that the mini audio is male and I needed female, but those adapters are about $0.50.
It does come with a male to male connector. And BTW, I don't understand why you are being so hostile and insulting everyone in the community. I don't appreciate your attitude and I doubt acting like a ***** will make anyone want to help you.

If you are planning on hooking up your monitor to your 360, all you need, and I will repeat, all you need is the MS VGA cable that does come with the audio hookups. It is as simple as that. So stop freaking out. And don't expect any further help after treating us like that.
Don't you think Microsoft thought of that when they produced the VGA cable? You're obviously willing to spend the $40, why not just buy it, open it, check to see if it has what you need and then either keep it, or return it and get your money back. How hard is that? You can even open it in the car so you don't have to make a return trip to return it if you need to!
Ok i guess ill have to answer you guys in return for what you know, for the people who think i was rude or hostile it was only to mainly Phil and the general people who cant read or respond correctly to a conversation( IE "I need help with this" RESPONSE- (usual forum retard "i cant help you with it but i like posting anyway or saying something like it worked great for me and because it did it should for you, without answering anything i talked about in my first post") Now im sure you can all relate to teh frustrating world of online posting and dealing with people such as that. thank you. And many of you posted things like buy a third party VGA adapter... WHAT? if you couldnt tell from the topic and my begining statement, without a double ended female adapter i cant use it lol, so thanks for the people who understood it and im pretty confident that the OFFICIAL MICROSOFT VGA adapter comes with it.
oh and to CGOLIVER microsoft of course knows that theres monitors like that, and therenot stupid, but they also KNOW they love money so many of the products from microsoft often have you going to buy extra things they should have had packaged in there in teh first place. ITS BUSINESS haha
