Vibration: On or Off?

I guess most players like playing with vibration on and so did I before the wireless controllers era. Now I turn it off because it seems to drain batteries way too fast. How about you, do you keep it on or off? If off, why?

It's not worth getting less of an experience out of games because I don't want to charge some batteries

I really don't like it, because it take my batteries to easy.

Off most of the time, I really only find it useful in games that use the vibration as an alert I don't need to feel the thing vibrate every time I pill a trigger that's just annoying.

On for sure, and I have a play 'n' charge kit so I don't have to worry about battery life.

I like vibration :).. That sounded wrong, anyway I like having vibrate on..Wakanoid

I never have vibration on and I'm not sure why.

OFF for me the control movement have nothing to do with the game so is just distracting and pretty annoying

I trun it off on all my consoles and games. I never really liked vibration. But thats just my opnion.

I just use a wired controller so I dont have to pay for the batteries or the play n charge kit. So yeah I keep rumble on.

I also play with vibration on. I need that feedback from the controller that I've hit something, or shot a gun, etc... I rarely notice it anymore, I've just gotten used to it, but I know that if I ever turned it off I wouldn't be able to play the same. Something would feel off.

I keep it on all the time. It's 2010, not 1990.

And even with a wireless controller, my batteries last 20 hours or more. Swapping them takes all of ten seconds - not a big hardship.

EDIT: Another reason I like to use wired controllers.

I definitely keep it on. Have been playing with the rumble feature since it came out on the ps1. Just guess I have gotten used to it being there for so long it is weird without it. I went out and bought a dualshock 3 for the ps3 when it came out just because I hated the fact that the ps3 didn't have rumble at first lol.

I leave mine off to save battery life, especially if few of my friends stay over at my joint and play for long hours.
