Christmas is in December.. I think that post may have been in response to the second statement made by the thread author -- that 'all the good games come out in the fall,' or some such. Granted, Christmas isn't technically in the autumn, either, but Christmas is when a lot of game-buying is done.
Do you buy all of your Christmas presents in December? In the United States... most people buy presents all through the year, mostly in the Fall and especially right after Thanksgiving...
good thing this topic spread from one question to when people buy there christmas presents. But nonetheless its very true. Thats a big reason because of the money making involved. More people will buy a game before christmas then they will right before summer.
Because that is when everyone misinterprets the religion of Christianity and spends billions of dollars on worthless items that no one needs...

I was stating that the reason most new games come out in the Fall and not in the Summer... Is because of Christmas... Because Fall is the season when everyone is buying gifts for Christmas...
