I just got it a few days ago from my online rental place, and its definitely fun, but it can be really annoying too. Often there is just too many things to do and not enough tools to do it all at once. It gets easier later when you get thins like the rainbows to keep your pinatas from fighting and the special shovel head to keep the bad guy away for longer (keeps him from coming so quick to destroy sick pinatas). But yeah, its a good game. Best bet tho is to make a ton of money just making the most expensive pinatas you can for a bit, then start a new garden and keep things organized. Your first garden will be a big mess.
To all those that rented it ... why, it's an awesome game ... lots of hours of fun to be had with it, and the more people that buy it the more inovation in games being produced .... RARE took a big gamble with this game and more sales means more risk can be taken in the future and less driving/ shooting / yawn games on the 360 roster!
Yes, its very addictive. Just got the last achievement yesterday. Its one of the few games that make a big deal when you get one. For example: when you get 30/50 achievements, a video starts and the pinatas start dancing becuase of your acomplishements, pretty cool IMO
Yes! I play GOW,H2 and other games,,PGR3,Forza, COD2 and 3. So I rented Viva for my 11 year old son,,kept it a week and in that week my wife,my 14 year old and my self were fighting over who got a turn next,,so I went and bought it and we all love it!!! wahoooooooooooooo!
I downloaded the demo and my little brother borrowed the full game from his friend over this past weekend. It is a very fun and addicting game. From young to old this game is enjoyable and challenging!!

I'm afraid of that. I played the demo for a little bit and then my g/f played it and she played it twice as long as I did. I kept on having to remind her that she's going to lose all of her work but it wasn't stopping her.
I was really hoping to like this game, I rented it and all it did was frustrate me. I generally love sims, but for whatever reason I just couldn't stand VP. I may give it another go in a few months, maybe timing was bad or something. If you enjoyed the demo, you'll definitely enjoy the game.

At first when you start the game, it feels very overwhelming and chaotic since a lot of pinatas hate each other and there is just so much micromanaging to do. Give it time, it will all settle down once you get helpers, and items to stop a lot of chaotic situations and make your life easier.
btw, in this game does anyone notice any grainy or choppy video in this game? like when you see the romance clips and the clips for getting the achievements, it looks grainy on my television, maybe its just me
For how much? i bought the limited edition for £40 because the normal was the same price but later on in argos (which is never good for games) it comes down to £25, im like WTF!!!
YES IT IS.. I haven't played any kind of game like that before, but when I started playing it got addicted.. haven't played my gears for 1 week either..
