VOTE: What score do you think Halo 3 will get?

What score do you think Halo 3 will recievnk it will get around a 7.5. That seems to be a bit above average, which is what Halo 3 seems like to me. But, I don't know, I thought Gears of War would get about an 8. What do you guys think it will get?

Instead of just guessing some number I'm going to break it down into each category that GS rates and then calculate the final average.

Gameplay: 9
Graphics:  10
Sound: 9
Value: 10
Tilt: 10

Overall:  9.6

However I wouldn't be suprised if one other thing was lowered by one so in that case the overall score would be a 9.4.  Remember GS doesn't like sequels as much as the originals.

true, but remember halo 2 got a better score than halo 1, and halo 1 was a lot better

true, but remember halo 2 got a better score than halo 1, and halo 1 was a lot better

 Halo 2 got a 9.4 and Halo:CE got a 9.7. And Halo 2 was better because of Live.

At least a 9.0

EDIT- Actually, I don't know what it'll get considering that Twilight Princess only got an 8.8/8.9 and that game deserved 9.5+ easy. Jeff is inconsistant when it comes to reviewing games (I bet he'll be the one to review it), he either messes up completely or gets it right.

GS reviews dont do justice my friends i would be surprised if it gets above a nine, although it deserves it. 

I would have to say that it will get between a 9.1 and 9.4.  I think they will complain that it's "more of the same" even though it is a sequel, and well, duh....what do you expect?  I mean, it's a sequal to two other games, so obviously it can't be too different.  And I also think the graphics will be knocked a bit, as they are probably less then what most of us expected.  In the end though, it will get a great score because it will be fun and will be played on Live like no other game before it, if for no other reason, then because it's Halo.

Not that it matters, but I'm not much of a Halo fan, I'm jut trying to give an unbiased opinion on what I think it will recieve. ;)

as it will inherit thhe greatness of the multiplayer mode from halo 2,it will definitely get from 9-10.Just have a look at the additions...

AAA, if the title has Halo in it, thats what it is.

I think it will get 9.6

I hope it is that good. 

I am in no way a "fanboy" of halo. I just happen to think it has nigh-infinite replayability. H3 should expand upon that and usher in a new era of the FPS genre.

10.5 (yeah, it defies the 1-10 scale)

Gameplay: 9
Graphics: 7 (This is based on the beta, I think 8 or so when it's finished)
Sound: 9 (Halo music is sick)
Value: 10 (because so many people will have it)
Tilt: 9

Overall: 8.8 (but I think Gamespot will give an extra point somewhere just to give it an AAA)
