Are you getting it after or at launch? I've thought about waiting, but then my dirty consumer side gets to me. My bro suggests waiting a bit after launch, but he doesn't game.
i just don't want anything like the rrod people were getting. so for the people who are going to buy the xbox one and ps4 right away, i consider them as guinea pigs 0:)
GTA V, television programming and my daily life will keep me busy enough that I have no desire to purchase a next gen console for at least 6 months. Â I intend on waiting for a year. Â That way we will know what the new consoles actually offer, not just what the sellers are telling us.

yea but we dont have to worry about loosing our money. if something goes wrong its under warrenty so there is really no risk involved with getting it day one. if its a cellphone that you cant live with out for a week then yea there is a proble but in this case its a game console.
allready pre ordered it off amazon and its full paid for. and i have 400 dollars worth of pre orders, again fully faid for.
I'm going with a PS4 at launch and waiting it out with the XB1. When the Kinect is removed and Microsoft finalizes their policies with everything, I'll pick one up. I'm in no rush.
At launch! I simply can't wait for Xbox One, and will sell my PS3 and all games to put towards my Xbox One collection! The only reason I will keep my 360 will be to play GTA 5! I hope to purchase Call Of Duty: Ghosts, Ryse, Dead Rising 3 and Forza 5 as well as the console, but will wait until I see what bundles are available before I make a definitive decision with what games I'll have!

For those annoying people who keep saying over and over and over and over that the Kinect will leave, it ISN'T. Every developer now knows that each player has a Kinect and can implement Kinect controls into any game knowing EVERY single gamer has one. And oh yeah, you need it for the Xbox to even work.Â

I keep seeing similar post and I have to say, it's quite moronic to say the least. I mean don't you think the developers of the console didn't take this into account? Why do you think the Xbox One is huge? And the design of both systems the way they are? I believe it's just a way of people saying they can't afford one now or at launch and want to make it seem like people who preorder systems are silly for doing so when in reality we understand how research and development works and know that won't happen this generation.

This is why im getting the PS4 at launch and the Xbox One about 5 months later. I'll let the developers master the Kinect and make some amazing games once they can really implement it and the XB1s power.

Im going to wait it out and see what Peoplesay about it for the first few months. I'll make my final next gen console decision around febuary or January.
I was wrestling with the decision but finally decided to pre-order it. I decided to just keep playing Black Ops 2 multi-player and enjoy the free Games With Gold on 360 until the XboxOne is released. I also pre-ordered Call Of Duty: Ghosts.
I will think about getting One in two or three years. The system has a lot to prove before i cozy back up with MS, but only if i can count 10 exclusive games that interest me.
I'll wait since I expect that it will receive a price drop within a year to get closer to matching the PS4's price. Plus, I have enough games in my backlog and upcoming releases for console's that I already own to last me all of next year, so I'm in no rush.
Dead Rising 3 looks pretty neat and so does Killer Instinct. Halo and Forza will be amazing. However, I'm still waiting to see if M$ can drop a few more exclusives down the road to justify my purchase.

You seem to have ignored the fact that 360 arcade games will not work on the X1. You are also an idiot for assuming people aren't getting X1 at launch because they are children.
