remember this is all hypothetical, im not saying everyone will do this, i probably wont but... there is a possibility.
September 24th - 7:30 pm
you and your friends come out of a hardware store with a rented generator, heading towards Gamestop/Ebgames with a 13" T.V., original XBOX and both halo combat evolved and 2. you and your friends play until 12 am, on the 25th, the wait is over, Halo 3 is out, you head back to your house, open the game, take out the disc, hit eject on your 360 and....the red ring of death appears, you frantically grab a number of towels, take the hardrive out, but nothing works. you have to wait to get your 360 repaired while everyone else with a 360 finishes the fight.
needless to say, i will go at midnight, prolly wont do the generator thing, but me and a friend are gonna stay up and play #3 through the night.
but if that were to happen to me, i might cry... haha
I had that same nightmare with GTA 4. I would get it home. See the intro and soon as I start to walk, the game freeze and I see the light at the end of the tunnel.
lol...It wouldn't really scare me. I might not even get Halo 3 until next year. I've never understood why everyone loves the game so much...AFS-Marc

Well even though GTA IV isn't coming out until 2008. I will still have Bioshock, Mass Effect, Assassins Creed and plenty more to keep me occupied...my total playing time for all games Halo = under 1 hour :P
A bit of a funny story though...my X360 broke a day before the Halo 3 beta...I had crackdown and was ready...but then my drive broke...only that! I could still play arcade games and everything else, but no games or movies...haha it was hilarious!! True story by the way!

Because it was many kids' first FPS, and the fact that it was a pretty good one instantly made it their "best game evar".
not best ever, i liked doom alot when it came out, i just like the online play of halo 2 and story of halo CE, and hopefully #3 will have the best of both worlds, and Jay, settle down, its a joke, im not really gonna be that pissed if my 360 dies when i get halo 3, ill be unhappy, but life moves on, im kinda used to my 360 failing, its done it enough before.
