want kinect but i've question.

Ima gamer but i think itll be fun with my gf and daughter, so i think this will beour chrismas present to all. First, how many player can kinect register, like how many gamer tag can you have on one system?

With my daughter being 1.5 year old, can i guideshe playkinect or whould kinect not be able to tell the two apart?

Also, i have pretty tight space, would that be a problem, does it have to be completly clean with walls?

i own kinect and i can answer some of this based on my experiences. kinect will definately be able to tell you and you gf apart via the face recognition, and so far i have three seperate gamertags linked to myself, my gf, and my roommate. as for the young child i doubt kinect will even register her as a user, because my dog doesnt interfere. as for the room thing it is the largest complaint, you need a good eight to ten feet to play two players together. on that note as well you cal only have two people playing at once but many more than that can rotate in and take turns

i should have also mentioned that it is really a great deal of fun. much better than i expected it to be and i cant wait to see the games for it in the future

my two yeaer old girl wont register it detects her but not her motions, probably to do with the proportions of head arms and body being different than a full size adult. you can have a ton of gamertags on your system so that should'nt concern you and my house isnt massive and the space behind me has 2 doors which regularly get opened which hasnt disrupted the gameplay. hope this helps.buft

Ok thanks for the info. When you guys say 8 feet, does it mean the distance from the tv or width?

Beacuase i play on a 7fx7f room and alot of stuff like coffe table, sofa and my piano is right beside me.

will other object interfere with the game?
