Want to buy XBox 360 for Japanese shmups.

Hello.

I have a PS3 and Wii but missed out on the XBox 360 last generation. I've started to like shoot-em-ups but the systems I own are sorely lacking in them. So, I just have a few questions about region encoding and the system in general.

-Which version of the 360 should I buy? I am currently looking into either an E or an Arcade.

-Is there any difference between an S and an E? Is it true they have a safety to prevent an RROD?

-Is it possible to bypass region encoding on an XBox 360? Like I said before I want to buy the system for Japan exclusives.

-In the case that I buy a Japanese system rather than an American one, what are some region-free exclusives you know of?

Get the E version, it´s the most modern and all the problems previous generations had the E one doesn´t..

Some games work in all the regions others don´t check the compatibility list.
