Hey im wanting to get an Elite at Best Buy next month since I have a $240 gift card for there but I never see them there except like once every three weeks or so. Is there a shortage of them or something cause I almost NEVER see them there or anywhere. I always see the premiums and cores but not those.
yeah im just kinda keeping track of them cause my old one died forever ago and I returned it way back in the day and got a PS3 (no I dont regret-I love my PS3)-I just want another 360 since I kept most of my 360 stuff and im DYING to play Blue Dragon and im pretty much wanting to go Elite-or no 360 at all since the 20GB HDD was too small for me (I dled alot)
To answer the second guy: I have looked online-as ive said before I have a $240 BEST BUY gift card and thats where I want to get it-and I also have a $150 bonus coming from work and I want to go Best Buy. and ive looked online-I see them there even less (I.E. never) but I see them in the store rarely (which is still more than never)
I recommend trying to purchase from xbox.com and if it is still back logged then your only hope is to try snag on in retail. Getting one in retail isn't that easy to do.
I know-I usually only see Premiums and Cores also :( while my brother up in NY says Elites are common as hell but I do not want to pay the shipping-at lesat I have patience-and a PSWii-along with my various old school systems to tide me over til I get my Blue Dragon...
i work at best buy (merch) we unload trucks been there 2 months since i have been there we have had 2 trucks with elites the frist one had a crazy low # of them too heh.
I eventually got my elite at a Best Buy, they just kept saying they'll have shipments in tomorrow. Tomorrow turned into 3 days, I go back and the guy I talked to finished unloading the truck of 40 of em, wasn't supposed to sell em till the next day but he made an exception given the circumstances.
Unless you have a HDTV that supports 1080p and you want to put all your music from your computer onto your 360, there really is no reason to get one except for the fact it's black. And I wouldn't want to pay an extra $80 to get it in a different color, besides a game console, it doesn't matter what it looks like.

Umm I have 120 gbs that disagree with you.
Whatever suits you, I guess I don't really need another 100gb, then again I do have a 30gb iPod, whatever suits your fancy I suppose.
