Okay...Virgin Megastore is closing and is now selling the Elite for $359 instead of the Microsoft price of $399. Would you all suggest I buy one even though I can't get a store warranty? There is a manufacturer warranty which might be just fine. I wanted to get some opinions though before shelling out the cash. Any advice would be helpful! Thx

Store warrentys are more convenient to have cause if your system fails, they give you a brand new most recent model but thats sometimes differs store to store. The real benefit is you don't have to wait 3 weeks for them to send you your system back, as with microsoft.

I don't think 360's have that many problems these days, so I would take my chances without buying the store warranty. I think it's a waste to get it, I would pay for the convenience to bring it in for a new 360 if anythings wrong, but I really don't see anything going wrong. Not within 2 years. My most recent 360 I bought which is my 4th one I didn't bother getting the store warranty, because my 3rd one went strong for a long time unlike the first 2,

As long as you have a warranty on your xbox then its fine. Btw it only takes about a week for MS to repair your xbox and send it back so its okie
