Was anyone else disappointed with the Hulu Plus trial?

I was moderately exited when I heard about the free week trial of Hulu Plus. Once I activated it though I was very disappointed. Alot of shows wouldn't show new episode unless it was in a browser on my computer and brand new episodes that i was looking for weren't easy to find. The whole service just didn't seem worth buying and the interface needs to be redone. What does everyone else think?

I agree, I was disappointed after as well. I didn't like the limited selection of content viewable from the Xbox console, and usually don't even need entire seasons of shows catalogued online. It's great if you're starting a new show and want easy access to everything, but I follow a few shows that I am up to date on. So for that, Hulu (the free version) is fine, because it keeps the last 5 or so episodes. I don't like viewing TV series on my 17" LCD monitor when I have a nice 37" HDTV a few feet away either. I wish the Hulu service wasn't exclusive to Plus subscribers only, the free version would have been nice as well. I didn't even bother extending the free week trial to another free month because I hardly used it.

I was disappointed as well. I know they say "watch TV on your 360", but the commercials kind of annoyed me.

Nah I wasn't disappointed since I never expected much from Hulu Plus anyway. I've tried it on my PC before and found their selection of shows to be very limited. The few series that they had that interested me I could already watch for free on the individual network's (Fox, CBS, etc.) website just as easy.

Now if they pulled in some stuff like Dr. Who, or other BBC series that I can't get here in the U.S. without having to pay for the top digital tier, then I would pay for Hulu plus.

Too bad Hulu's selection of Shippuden is largely web-only.

I already have Netflix and really like that service, but Hulu was a disappointment. It doesn't stream as well as Netflix and much of the Hulu content is already available on Netflix. The nail in the coffin for me though is that Hulu forces you to watch commercials. Brief as they may be, it drove me nuts whenever they came up. Not interested.

Exactly this. Why does a paid subscription require commercials? Netflix seems to do it just fine.

I thought it was ok. I only used it twice to watch the Daily Show & Colbert Report though. I didn't mind the commercials either. I didn't like that the selection is so limited. I got excited to see that Bleach was on the service but that most of the episodes were only available on PC, which is annoying.

To me, HULU's only cool if it's free. There are many WAY better ways to watch TV/Movies if you're gonna pay.
