I was psyched for it, I thought it was going to be a new really good creepy game but then I play the demo and it was completely underwhelming the graphics weren't that great, the gameplay was completely not what I expected, and the weapons kinda sucked and weren't very powerful, so anyone else feel this way?

same and yea it was terible, and i had no idea what RB did, it teleported me somewhere but ten i wass back where i started

I was hoping somehow that was just not a good level, but even if it was the gameplay was soo bad, well one less game to get I guess.
It is odd indeed for me, I want to like the game alot but it really does just feel like been there done that. I mean I love the blood magic and such in the game. But when you have games like Bioshock or Comdemend out there which do the horror and also the magic and guns thing better it seems well sub par.
I hated it too, i was hoping for a scary game, but it was just boring. I think the characters make the game alot less scary, and the enemy's seem so small and week, it would be really scary if the game was less of a shooter and more of an action adventure/horror and your like a lost group of solders in some war, not random magic people, so all you have is an ordinary assault rifle with limited ammo, and the monsters slowly start appearing, kinda like the creatures in the movie the decent. And the game is more about staying away from the creatures and being smart about what you do, not just running in with a big mini gun. I reckon that would be way better....lol did anyone else get into kind of a panic in splinter cell: CT when you are close to being caught? imagine that but in ancient ruins with creepy monsters.
Can't say I was disappointed because I never expected anything from this game, but yes, I thought the demo was terrible. Extremely bad level design/layout and the gameplay was a little dull.
I was pretty put off by the intro to Jericho. Playing through it I thought the graphics were decent, and it wasn't that bad, but not great or anything. If I had to guesstimate a review, probably a 6.5. The intro voice over was horrible and the story was reaching too far. Gameplay had an interesting idea for the sniper shot but it wasn't very tactical and the setting for the level was just dark. They really didn't utilize the shadows and surround sound well to make it an edge of your seat experience like Condemned was. Not even close. I was excited for this game but itis demoted toa bottom of the que gamefly rental for me.
I thought it was OK. The gameplay was allright, but what made me do a double take was the convuluted story at the beginning. That was the worst part in my opinion. I liked the sniper bullet time thing, and the chick with the sword was cool, but I didn't really feel like it was that original of an idea. THe quick time event was a blast, though. It was cool seeing that corpse get right up in your face.
