Hey gamers i was one of the lucky buyers to pick up a copy of Crackdown (YES!) but it seems like no one else knows or even cares about this game anywhere else! And of course im one of the few players who doesnt have XBL and so im stuck working on my stats by myself. Anyway if you have this game then you know that it rocks cuz its like GTA times 10 cuz u power up and stuff. But can anyone tell me why the hype was so great but the buy was so bad? Wus and is this game just a late bloomer?
I really had more fun playing the demo of Crackdown than GTA 3 or ...... that 80's one (forgot the name, lol). In my opinion, Crackdown is the better game due to the power ups and much better gun play. Now I just need the money to get the game...
rented it to play it when it came out, and then rented it AGAIN when THE BETA CAME OUT!!! Spent more time on the beta than the game itself... i almost cried when i had to delete the beta....*holds on tight for 2 more months*
The H3 Beta overshadowed anything good about Crackdown. Good game, but in a way it only sold as much because of the beta added. I agree its underrated, but it wasnt anything great.
Thats whta i thought...people bought and loved it...but then there were others who only bought it for the Beta... but did the game really pull players in ofr the love of the game or the love of the beta i know that i wanted the game strictly for the feeling of controlling everything hope thers a 2nd cuz this one was wayyy too short for my gaming needs

Crackdown takes Qs and kicks As in every way imo. Rented it during the demo, thought the beta was worthless (still buying Halo), and bought the game after the beta was over. Best $36 bucks I've spent in a while.
Crackdown is a great game that I still play, as for the beta, I played that about two times and then realized it was like halo 2 with better graphics and the same horrible 11 year old kids screaming in your ear.
