The world was about 10x bigger than the first but it still wasnt a long game. The arena wasnt as fun as the one in the first game. And the ending kind of sucked. It didnt have musch replay value to it once you beat it because there werent many sidequests that were worth anything. What were your thoughts on the game?

the only RPGs i like are JRPGs and bethesda games.
the only disapointment is the co op multiplayer. they said o u can have ur single player chracter join a friends. really the only thing that is wrong with it.
Fable 2 was a great game. Its definatly better than the first one, but after beating it, it doesn't have that replay value for me, besides getting a couple more achievements. They screwed up the co op IMO, and with Gears 2 and COD5 out, it's hard to make time for fable2. I'm hoping for some DLC to get me back into it though

This was the same attitude I had towards The Last Remnant, anyways back to Fable 2. It wasn't that bad imo.
The entire game is very repetitive. all u do is fight a wave of bad guys with a lame combat system. you know the combat is terrible and lacks any depth when the only way to add some difficulty to the game is by adding endless hoard of enemies. IMO, fable 2 feel likes dynasty warrior but worse. all the quest consist of you going from point a to point b and fighting boring ass wave of enemies. There's no zelda dugeons or puzzles to sovle just follow this path and kill whatever is in your way. That liar, peter molywhatever said you can affect the game, there's only 1 place that alter throughout the game, bowerstone south. what a huge exageration. false advertisement. this game is trash. interacting with npc thru expression is trash. biggest letdown of 08. i ended up trading this within the first week.
fable 2 isnt an RPG, (well it is) but they seemed more focused on making it so much more accessible that it became half rpg half the sims, and its way to short i tried to stretch that game as long as i could (took about 25 hours ) but still felt way to short, but dont get me wrong that game is still great fun.

story being to short, little variety of clothing and weapons and co-op were a total letdown for me, The combat system and controls were perfect though imo
Well it certainly wasn't as good as i expected, still I love playing it. The combat system is amazing, reminds me to the Assasins Creed one, has a couple of similarities. The graphics aren't the best for the xbox but they're great, the replay value is pretty average, i went through the game with a good character, and evil one and now i'm getting through the story and buying every property in Albion with a neutral one. All in all, the game isn't half bad at all.
My first playthrough the game was really fun but after i beaten it i made another character and it kinda felt like a chore doing it again so it will be a few months before i play it again.Oh and the loading screens started to get pretty damn annoying just because you had do move through so many different areas constantly.
It's a great game, very enjoyable. The only thing is once you play through it the 1st time, you really won't want to play through it again anytime soon.  So yeah I'd its a dissapointment, as any game thats not worthy of a purchase is a dissapointment. Fable II is like that perfect weekend rental game.
The ending was more like a cliffhanger. I'm still playing the same guy even though I beat the story. The co-op big disapointment. I hate how your kids stay at 7. Also how your the only one that ages.

My feelings exactly. I never played the first Fable and didn't have a lot of expectations for this game. Maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much. I'm still playing and I'm at 27 hours or something like that. As for the co-op, I don't really care since none of my friends have an Xbox 360. =S The only thing that I didn't like about the game was how you're the only character who ages and your children(who actually go from babies to kids) stay at the age of 8 or whatever.
Playing through it the first time and it's enjoyable. I'm motivated to keep going, but it is way too easy and linear. Just follow the sparkly path (when it's not bugging out) and you are easily on your way. It's not bad, but I wish it was a bit more challenging. :) I'm at 45k renown. So close to 50!
the only thing i really thought was a let down was the multiplayer like other people have said your a generic charecter... its only not lame if your friend is really into helping you out or vice versa. but i thought the game was great maybe a little shorter then i expected but that dident dissapoint me, it has more replay value then most RPGs id say. im on my 3rd play through 1 good, 1 evil, and 1 what id call a "perfect" play through to achieve everything and make the choices i throught were best, etc. and whoever said you can only alter 1 part of the map is crazy there wasent as much as i expected but there is more then 1 not to mention the economies and albion citizens that change depending on your interactions with them.
This is what ALL hype builds, whatever the game maybe... a let down.
CO-op, a let down, yes. But the first fable didn't have co-op at all. So whats the problem? You have one co-op experience you never had before.
the problem here was that the game hyped everyone on co op and made it seem like the game would be 10x better than the first because of co op now i havent even played the game yet, but i know that great co op would have got me to get this game oh well, ill play gears co op!

I thought it was a decent game. I definitely spent more time playing Lost Odyssey and Tales of Vesperia. Hopefully, the new DLC will offer a lot more.
I personally felt that the game had a LOT of new things, but with a lot of old things removed. It's a good game, but for some reason I prefer the first one. I also thought that Fable 2 was going to have some cool armor for you to wear,now you only wear clothes, and there is no defense. The mechanic used to pull of your Will was very disappointing if you ask me, having to charge into different levels of the Will Power and all spells being the same one but with a different attribute wasn't fun at all.
