I wish there was a sortof button. I think it will be good, however the graphics probably will be very boring if it takes place in the Middle East. I don't know much of the terrain of the Middle East, however, most of what I have seen is just desert. I thought Conflict Desert Storm 2 was a fun game, but the atmosphere was terrible. Oh well, lets see how this turns out.

I love WWII shooters but they have been over done. Moving on is a good start in my opinion but I do hope that its still a previous war. I wouldnt mind them making a COD on 'nam. The only good 'nam game Ive ever played was Shellshock: Nam '67. I think I got the numbers right...
Would've prefferred for it to go in order, and have it take place in Vietnam, but either way, we needed to get out of Vietnam. Besides, I doubt the CoD series will be ending any time soon, they'll come to Vietnam eventually.
i think modern days a good idea because now were gonan be able to have fast paced fun with ironsights and such but on saws and m4s and stuff, if they get the good fast pace action in cod123 and get the recoil right with the weapons it will be a blast i bet. The animations on the terrorists are looking alot better too, saw hurt one getting up using his gun people realistically falling when they are hit and i think its gonna be rated M maybe then they could put in more realistic looking blood effects would suit the game better.
I'm not so sure. I can see it going tactical, and i'm sick of tactical gurellia games as it is. So i'd pass on it tbh. If however it was like it is now, run and gun gritty stuff in the streets like the trailer hinted at. Then I'd pick it up. I hope it will be like it is atm, but with new guns and a change of scenery.
No, I'm not fine with it. Here are the options they should have gone with...
Option 1: Maybe they should have gone back in time. I want to see a World War I shooter.
Option 2: War game protocol clearly states that you are to procede for 50 variations of a WWII game to at least 1 Vietnam game. You may then proceed to a desert storm type game. You are then allowed to proceed at a minimum to a game which takes place 5 years in the future.
Option 3: Sorry, I'm in a griping mood with the madden announcement. Ya sure why not, make a modern combat game, its what everyone else is doing
