to me it was not it had great games like halo and gears of war the rest i had for pc

The whole Kinect thing and lack of QUALITY 1st party exclusives outside of Gears, Halo and Forza has become almost too much to bear. It had been one full year since i purchased a 360 game until Gears 3 and Forza 4. Those may be the last two 360 games i ever buy.

The whole Kinect thing and lack of QUALITY 1st party exclusives outside of Gears, Halo and Forza has become almost too much to bear. It had been one full year since i purchased a 360 game until Gears 3 and Forza 4. Those may be the last two 360 games i ever buy.

At first I couldn't quite figure out what you were trying to say but then your profound logic twisted my thoughts and I completly agree.

It's better than the original Xbox. None of my friends had it and the only good exclusive game on it was Conker:Live and Reloaded and maybe Crimson Skies HRTR. The 360 has a much improved 3rd Party support, most of my friends have it, and it has Alan Wake, Crackdown, Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts, And Kameo. There's also an absolute Fantastic Arcade library that I've had so much fun with this Gen. :D

No not at all, I thought that there could be nothing better than the og xbox and the 360 has exceeded every one of my expectations, something I cannot say about the ps3 or wii, and yes I have all three.

To me it is. It started off strong then just nose dived to garbage. They release no exclusives and have Rare making crap for kinect instead of actual games. They charge for XBL when it should be free all tho it never will be because people pay etc.

NO! A great console with great games. Now I have the Xbox360 slim with Kinect on a hi-def TV, along with an Xbox360 original upstairs on a spare PC LCD widescreen monitor.

I'm a Halo fanboy so it was worth it just for Halo 3 by itself.

NO WAY! I've had tons of fun with my 360, and I've had quite a few systems in my day. It is one of the better consoles I've played, and its longevity has shown that many people appreciate what the 360 has brought to the table.

Wii don't think the xbox360 was a big let down :)

Not for me I bought 4 Xbox 360's during the 7th generation. Only my 2005 launch model RROD, The second I sold for a Plane ticket Plus the 40 games i had with it, So I bought another Original model Xbox 360, Last of the Jasper models45mn Chip 2010-04-21 before the Original Xbox 360 models were discontinued, before Microsoft introduced the Xbox 360 S, (Slimline console)

So now I have 2 Xbox 360's An all white Arcade edition with a tiny 20GB HDD and an Xbox 360 S, 320GB HDDLimited edition Gears of War 3 console, With a headset and 2 Controllers and the pack in Game Gears of war 3.

So I have had 2 20GB HDD and 1 60GB HDD Xbox 360 Model 1 consoles (only 1 died of RROD), Sold the other 60giger. Now just have 2 Xbox 360 Model 1 & 2.

Plus have 35 Xbox 360 games, (75 X360 games purchasedthis generation) played an additional 26 with friends, game I do not own.

So the Xbox 360/Xbox 360S was not a let down. The opposite was true, The games rocked, I would have botheredbuying Xbox 360 and games if it wasn't worth it. The controller is the best, most comfortable, (thankfully the D-Pad has been improved) Plus the Xbox 360 is at about 56 Million consoles sold thus far. Much better than 24.5 million for the original Xbox. and despite launching with the RROD issue.

The reason the Xbox 360 was not a letdown for me is the games. Which is the most important aspect of a Console, The softs are more important than the machine.

Plus Xbox hasalways had the best consoleon-line multiplayer.

the 60+ xbox 360 games on my shelf will beg to differ with this topic. btw i have all three current machines. 60+ xbox 360 (aus day launch), 10 ps3 (last year i bought it in july) and 20 wii games *aus day launch)
