Im gonna say 9.5.... 9 is gonna be like saying it was just barely AAA and halo i think is gonna be a solid AAA. dudy80
No, they explained it quite well. 9.0 means suberb game. 9.5 means an outstandingly excellent suberb game. So 9.0 doesn't mean 'barely'.
They did this new rating system for many reasons, one of which, to stop confusion about scores. So there is no 'barely' or 'just a little bit better then' anymore. It's either great, or it isn't.
9.5
i don't get how the new system works, yet :(stygiansanityThey got rid of the .1 increments. This means its not possible to get anything besides 8.0,8.5,9.0,9.5 etc.
They also give out medals to show the good and bad things about the game.
I personally don't like the new system.
Unless they improve the graphics, it's going to get about an 8.5. It's not going to live up to the hype.djsundowner
oh i actually think the hype is gonna boost the grade thats why i think it could get a perfect 10. whats it gonna look like when one of the best selling games ever gets an 8 or an 8.5?

That gamers are sheep. It's not like 8 or 8.5 is a bad score.
I hate the new system thats why I dont care what Gamespot gives it anymore. I will be looking at IGN's reviews for now on. There reviews will be way better cause 10 and 9.7 is way different to me like 6.7 and 7 are way different.raylewisnfl52
I kinda agree with ya. I definitely liked the old system much better.
Oh and to be on topic:
9.0
