I don't get why everyone is wetting their pants over Brawl. I honestly thought SSB Melee got boring very fast and just was not that fun of a game. Though really I have hated just about any Nintendo first party title outside of Zelda anyways. Thats why I was so jaded after the GameCube because if you don't like Nintendo's products their third party support sucks and their is never anything to buy and the Wii appears to not be changing the trend too much.Ket87

I think GTAIV, its the only real contender for GOTY. There are a lot of good games coming out but none of them anything special that would obviously scream Game of the Year.

I have 3 choices:

Fallout 3

GTA IV

Fable 2

Lol man, tough question! Last year was easier to determine, but because of PS3's rise, we're in for a rumble. It's going to be a clash between my top predicated titles of 2008. The following are: Metal Gear Solid 4, Grand Theft Auto 4, Suprisingly enough - Fallout 3 will be a big surprise, Tiberium, Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Bionic Commando, Fable 2. These are my predictions for the year that will be at the top. As for game of the year, that honor will go to Metal Gear Solid 4. It's going to blow the competition out of the water, whether you may like it or not. MGS4 has already proven itself over and over to be an industry giant and it's standards are extremely high to match. I've put my vote in.

P.S. I doubt Final Fantasy XIII or versus will be released this year so I did not mention them. Nor did I mention Gears of War 2. I think these will be 2009 releases.
