I had a watter bottle next to my xbox and theres was maybe an inch of water that came out and some of it got inside the my xbox but it was off and I havent played it in 2 days so is it safe to play it or should I return it or something?
Wow....You might want to try hitting it with a hair dryer....and to you people that think it'll get too hot... A hair dryer will do nothing compared to the system when running as far as temperature goes.

I'm not sure if I have too much experiance with the Xbox 360 but if you do not have warrenty on your Xbox 360 I would prolly open it up myself. If you do have a warranty with it go return it for a new one. Also you may want to lay it on the side, I do not know if this would help but there may be a build up of moisture in the Xbox having it come up through the holes may help it. I don't think it will turn ablaze but if it does, you always have your water bottle right there.
About a month ago, my girfirend poured a diet coke on my xbox. Luckly, the xbox was off. I waited about 50 hours before i turned it back on. I have not experienced any problems thus far (knock on wood). Therefore, since coke, an acidic solution, is probably more damaging than water, i would assume your system should opperational if you give it suffiecent time to dry.
haha pm me with what happens i hope it works idk what i would do if my xbox360 broke but next time dont leave water next to it..leave like soda..lol jk srry bout the water thing good luck with ur 360
An inch of water is nothing to worry about , since most of it would drain to the carpet. It's been two days, should be fine. Start it up, but if you hear anything unusual turn it off.
well im glad it works, it by all means should have doesnt anyone take chemestry? bottled water doesnt conduct electricity, there's not enough ions in solution, pond water and such does because of all the little things taht are in those waters.
Go ahead, set it in your bathtub! well, maybe not, you could have some really dirty tap water. Better safe than sorry :p
